In 2002, Angela Blair was recognized by as Texas’ Female Vocalist of the Year. In 2004, she was labeled UK’s Greatest Voice You’ve Never Heard. Eventually, all roads would lead Blair to ultimately win the 2005 Kraft Gospel Talent Search, which was held during the annual Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following her Kraft Gospel Talent Search win, Blair released her debut CD entitled, “It’s All About Love”.
Blair is also an aspiring actress. She was cast as an ‘Angel of Mercy’ singer in the motion picture film, Leap of Faith, starring Steve Martin. She was also “Associate Producer: on the official documentary short film, “Barack Obama, the Man and His Journey.”
Blair’s career was on the fast track when a series of personal setbacks caused her career to stall. She triumphantly overcame the obstacles she faced, & because of newfound vigor and determination, she is back with a new team and a new outlook on love, life and her career.
Blair’s new single, “Trust”, is blazing the charts and she’s currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her sophomore CD, which is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2013.
