8pm CST: Barbara Cox has toured with various choirs while attending Panola Jr. College and The University of Texas in Tyler. In 2001, she released her first CD titled "Guardian Angel". God allowed her to complete three more anointed CD's titled "Jubilations", "I"m Free", and "Songs Momma Taught Me" released in 2010. Since her debut she has experienced the following endeavors: She was blessed to sing with Gospel Recording Artists such as Dorothy Norwood and Carolyn Traylor. Barbara received two awards for Album of the Year in 2008 and 2009 from The East Texas Gospel Academy. She was a candidate for The Gospel Music Worshop of America: Talent Search in 2006. Ms. Cox has appeared as special guest on many TV and radio broadcasts. She was also honored by the Mayor of Tyler, Barbara Bass, in 2009 for her outstanding work in the community.
